Journal Cafe

Nice, quiet cafe in the lanes of Santacruz West. Great service, the servers are very quick to take your order and get the food fast too.

Got a nice vibe while I was sitting there. The interiors are great, and even the outdoor area is kinda airy. I mainly sat in the outdoor area this time around. It was quiet full, inside and outside. The smoking got a bit annoying, but space is at a premium in Mumbai. The food kinda made up for it.

I ordered quite a lotta things coz the menu looked very appetizing. Or at least I think I ordered a lot. Blah! was way more. Anyway,

Vietnamese Cold Brew

I mean… maybe I ordered the wrong thing? Didn’t enjoy this much. Maybe a cold brew is different from a cold coffee?? I noob. 3/9.

Floral Coco

Holy fucking shit was this amazing. I did not expect this to be so good. Coconut Water + Orange Juice = GREAT REFRESHMENT. 8/9.

Sweet Potato Fries

I is not a big fan of sweet potatoes, but this one was quite good. I liked the white dip a lot. Idk what it was though. Yoghurt? idk. 6/9. Eatable

Avocado Toast

So I didn’t taste this, but my very good friend ordered this and she has great taste. Sooo.. yeah.

Garlic Herb Lamb Burger

Oh god this was so good. SOOO GOOD. The fries were soft and crispy at the same time.

Closing thoughts

Good place to come to meet a few friends, as a first meeting with new people. If you don’t have anyone in Santacruz and beyond, I would say this can be missed. Not to say this is a bad place, but there quite a lot of such places nearby as well
