This is one festival which is pretty close to my heart. I’ve never had proper sisters to think of as such. That kinda changed in Bhavans when Priyanka tied me a rakhi and I genuinely started to think of her as a sister.
But in RGIT is where I genuinely found 2 folks who I till date share a (hopefully) very close bond with: Vandy and Jeru.
Since then I’ve tried to celebrate this in some way. Jeru has given me more rakhis, but that’s also coz she’s closer here.
