Saw this interesting thread recently, which has a one liner that stuck w me. A nice way to think about MCP.
I usually call MCP as Garib API for ML engineers, but that’s not the case really. Yes MCP is a wrapper over traditonal REST APIs. But they are defined in such a way as to make it totally obvious to an AI model that they can call a certain tool (which is the aforementioned API wrapper ) for more better answers.
