In an age where nearly everything runs on electricity AND also has lotsa moving parts AND is ruddy complicated, it takes just a tiny speck of dust to fucking ruin your favourite gadget. And here in India, dust. is. EVERYWHERE.
I personally have had tons of my gadgets stop working simply coz there’s too much dust stuck in some vent. Or the dust has reached the inner motherboard-ish of the gadget. Or I just didn’t have a bath that day when I tried using a device.
9 times out of 10, cleaning out every nook and corner outside AND INSIDE of your device will fix it. Really. The cleaning can get complicated if you aren’t too handy with a screwdriver or if the device is sealed shut1. So clean jitna is possible. Even if your issue isn’t resolved, when you give it a repairman at least they’ll bless you.
Have a bath daily folks. Very important. We are also gadgets. Biological ones.
