He shall defend their ways, yet shall violate them. He will be their savior, yet they shall call him heretic. His name shall be Discord, yet they shall love him for it.

-The Final Empire, Chapter 8

I’m thinking of myself in Quantiphi (or any professional environment) when I read this.

He shall defend their ways, yet shall violate them - I try to protect the standard way of developers. Namely, how to interact with them, giving them feedback, evaluating their work, etc. BUT, I also challenge these norms and try to make these developers break out of their shells and be more dynamic.

He will be their savior, yet they shall call him heretic - My ideas will genuinely bring great improvements to baioniq and everyone also knows that. BUT, they[^the developers] think I’m too bold for bringing in these changes (i think).

His name shall be Discord, yet they shall love him for it - Clearly my name is not Discord. This is more for Sazed and the prophecy. But in my scenario, even though I bring chaos to the team, I feel they do love me somewhere.
