Think about it.
A coppermind is a piece of copper that a Feruchemist can use to store their memories in, and extract at will. Once stored they kinda disappear from the users memory.
Our phones, or laptops, or any “storage devices”. Aren’t they also kinda like Copperminds?
Memories equivalent is the data we store on these devices. Photos, books, movies, notes, etc.
Also, Awakening is the act of “imbibing” Investiture into an inanimate object(s) to make them do something else.
So, the storage part is the Coppermind. And the interactive nature of smartphones is Awakening the storage aspect.
I find it quite cool to make this analogy. Might help theorising for the future of the Cosmere even easy. Or even as just as a fun thought exercise
